Jeanette Prorok MSc PhD

Jeanette Prorok holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health and Health Systems as well as a Master of Science in Health Studies and Gerontology, both from the University of Waterloo.  She completed her undergraduate degree at McMaster University, graduating with an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences with a Minor in French.  Through a variety of positions, Dr. Prorok has worked on several health services research and evaluation projects in her primary area of interest related to improving the health and social care system for older adults and their care partners.  Dr. Prorok enjoys working collaboratively with clients and employing her skills and knowledge in mixed methods research and evaluation as well as knowledge translation to new projects through her consulting work.

Recent projects include: the development of a performance indicator framework for the Provincial Geriatrics Leadership Office of Ontario, in order to improve the health and social care of older adults with complex chronic conditions; and examining interventions to improve the care of community-dwelling older adults with dementia and their care partners.

As required to meet project needs, JPRO Research & Consulting enlists the expertise and skills of its highly qualified associate consultants.
